Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m a web and graphic designer (and coder!) from Brampton, Ontario. I am just finishing up my last year at Humber College and looking for Freelance work.
Now that the formalities are out of the way … I love web design! I made my first webpage in grade 7, it was tacky and poorly coded and a horrible mess but I loved it. I was eager to improve and found many sites that helped me learn HTML and CSS. My pages improved as did my abilities and so I created Dark Elements – a personal site that I still run today. In high school I took two courses on website creation and learned PHP and MySQL, and I loved it! That’s when I decided I wanted to be a web designer. I enrolled in college, learned some more and here I am today.
I'm a very creative person and my hobbies really reflect that. I enjoy photography, and photo editing. I enjoy traditional art - sketching, painting and working with ink. I also make costumes and props, and have a couple of side web-projects that aim to help other costumers.
